Random Fun

It's been a busy few months and sadly I have lacked in my picture taking, however, I do have a couple fun pictures worth a blog.

We did an office lunch party at Mucho Gusto, which was nice. It's always nice to have fun OUTSIDE of work!

Also, my dear friend Goose (Yvonne) and I spent an entire day together in celebration of her birthday. Which included lunch, pedicures, shopping and visiting!

30 Baby

My 30th Birthday was a rather quiet event over all this year, but what I was thankful for was the birthday BBQ with my friends. Tawnya, Devin, Tiffany and Kristy came over to Goose's house where we had a Birthday BBQ for Goose and I. (Our birthday's are 2 weeks apart.)

It was a great night and nice to celebrate with my dear friends. 

Portland Work Trip

I have 5 kids on my caseload in residential, 3 of them are in the Portland area, my friend Tiffany has 5 kids in residential in Portland, so, the county sent us up to check on them. It was a busy 2 days. We left at 8:00am stopping in two different cities along the way. We then made it to our hotel where we changed our clothes and headed out for a nice dinner. After that we hit the motel room where we had a Big Love marathon (TV show we're hooked on that was on HBO). We watched those until 2:00am where we finally crashed. We then got up early and made two more stops around the Portland area before heading back to Medford. It was a fast trip, but a nice change of pace and productive.

Work has been quite stressful lately. My boss is a selfish, narcissistic, lying, horrid excuse for an individual and has done so many truly offensive and personally attacking actions that it has been difficult to not call in sick every day and hide in my bed! If I didn't work with such amazing ladies, I would have started job hunting quite a while ago, but I work with some great people. We all decided we hated our job and needed a break, miraculously Kristy had a free night for the Casino, resort and spa, 7 Feathers, so we booked it and ran! We ditched work a little early and drove the hour out of Medford to our vacation spot!

The hotel was beautiful! We checked in, got cleaned up, and headed for some dinner. We had a great meal and then headed for the casino. We rotated from table games to slots and had a great time gambling it up. We saw a great cabaret show and then danced the night away until about 2:30am. We all were in bed by 3:30am and slept till 10:00am. We had a nice breakfast then headed back to reality. It was a nice escape and a total blast!!! :) I'm continually thankful for these fantastic women!

Vegas Baby 2012

Yvonne, Chad, Joe and I hit Vegas and in a big way! It was awesome!!!! We stayed at the Mirage and checked in along side Katy Perry and Paris Hilton! We then had a late dinner and hit the sack before our big day.

We went to hoover damn first thing. It was massive and neat to see. Following that we went to Fremont Street and looked around. After that we went to the Pawn Shop from Pawn Stars and Circus, Circus for dinner and the free circus acts. Like any respectable adults, we then engaged in game playing for two hours to win stuffed animals for Yvonne and Joe's kids! After that we hit the night life!

The following day we went sight seeing up and down the strip, saw the Titanic exhibit, The Volcano exploding out front the Mirage and out for a nice dinner. After that we engaged in a party in the hotel room. It involved quite the wrestling match, lots of giggling and good discussions. It was such a fantastic and memorable trip. I'm so thankful for my dear friends Yvonne and Joe and my cousin Chad. Vegas Baby!
